Our Spaghetti Dinners act dually as a grassroots artists’ cabaret of puppetry, vaudeville, and good old cardboard enthusiasm while feeding the community at a sliding scale rate. Eccentric, delicious, and the ultimate go-to for Richmond’s experimental performance scene. All the Saints Theater Company began hosting these dinners to offer a radical gathering place for garlic, bread, community and puppet shows.

DETAILS: All the Saints’ spaghetti dinners are a major convergence of creative and experimental entertainment for adults in the Richmond community. The spaghetti dinner cabarets are the sole events hosting back to back puppet shows with a vaudeville rhythm all at a sliding scale rate. People in my community are eager for more slams, and have become aware of the touring radical puppet community through our local puppet slams.
"[PSN] has connected me to other organizers who I have personally contacted and scheduled slam dates based on touring puppet shows that I wanted to showcase at All the Saints’ Slam. It has enabled an interest in learning more about social networks, and since first receiving the Slam Grant, I have made both a Facebook account and put together a YouTube channel. I have begun working on a blog for the Spaghetti dinners, and can easily say this has been inspired by my participation in the Puppet Slam Network. The grants have enabled me to promote more heavily and my audience capacity has nearly doubled since my first puppet slam grant. Thank you."
