The Adult Puppet Cabaret is an all-encompassing night of creativity, camraderie, and fun, focussing on short form puppetry. Not for the faint of heart, APC addresses religion, death, gender, and silliness. We actively foster artistic development in the creation of adult puppetry with a view to avant garde and american puppet traditions. We welcome all performers.

DETAILS:  One of the best ways we have figured out to have audience participation and the general public making puppets is “Puppet-E-Oke”, basically audience members make a puppet, get in the Puppet-E-Oke booth and go for it. After Marsians idea at one or our slams to have two people who did not know each other perform together do so we have been helping people find unexpected puppet love ever since.

"The Puppet Slam Network has linked us to puppeteers outside of California who have performed at the slam. It has given us information on other slams so we can in turn find out if it is possible to perform there. It has generally been a link and information hub for short form puppet theatre. Thank you!"
